Cathlawhill Farm
Turbines: 1x Endurance E3120
Location: West Lothian, Scotland
Having erected this turbine themselves, the owners at Cathlawhill sought to enjoy the benefits of having a wind turbine, without the trouble and risk involved in managing the asset.
In November 2018, CWE acquired the turbine and took a lease over the land on which the turbine was sited, allowing the landowners to obtain a capital sum as well as enjoying annual rental income.

Coed y Gilfach Farm
Turbines: 2x Vestas V27
Location: Gwent, Wales
While the owners at Coed y Gilfach had done well to secure their planning application, they were short of time to construct the turbines in the window which would allow them to obtain the Feed-in-Tariff. CWE quickly stepped in, sorting out the issues which were hampering progress, while sourcing and constructing the turbines.
The owners benefit not only from annual rental income directly related to the turbines, but are shortly to connect their farm to take physical electricity from the turbines at an advantageous price.

Lochend
Turbines: 4x Enercon E70
Location: Scottish Highlands
Wind Harvest, a successful wind development company, needed an energetic and proactive partner to ensure that this 4 turbine site was built in sufficient time to qualify for ROCs, the window for which was fast closing.
Apart from having multiple landowners involved, the project was further complicated in initially requiring an Active Network Management system. While Wind Harvest finalised the land deals, CWE sourced the turbines, arranged, financed and oversaw the construction, all to a demanding timetable. CWE and Wind Harvest have successful partnerships on other similar projects.
